When contacting Player Support about problems connected to recovering your account, our team will have to go through Account Ownership Verification (AOV). In order to do this, we will require some form of Proof of Purchase from your: bank, credit card statement, financial entity, or retail purchase ticket. This article explains where you can find this information.
Confirmation emails will not be considered. Having a potentially compromised account renders them invalid.
PayPal & Amazon
Please provide a screenshot of the PayPal or Amazon interface, showing the details of one purchase that is at least 6 months old. It is possible to go into your purchase history, find an appropriate payment, and access the details. Take a screenshot of those details.
Credit Card, Bank Transfer, and Direct Debit
We need a screenshot of your online banking interface showing the details of one purchase that is at least 6 months old. All personal information should be blacked out; however, we need to see the following:
- Date
- Amount
- Recipient of the payment
SMS/Phone
If an account has only payments made by phone, there are two ways of providing proof of purchase.
- You can send a photo/screenshot of a phone bill showing the phone number and the date of a purchase that is at least 6 months old.
- You can provide a screenshot of a code you received for a purchase that is at least 6 months old.
Paysafecard
Paysafecard allows you to create an account on their online platform called MyPaysafecard. If you have made any purchases via this platform, you can provide us with a screenshot showing us an older payment. If you do not use it, there is still a small chance that you might have kept the Paysafecard PIN from one of your previous purchases. You can send us the PIN, and we can check whether it is associated with the account you are claiming ownership of.
Prepaid cards
For World of Tanks, we are selling prepaid cards that are available in many stores. They come with a code on the backÑsend us a picture of that code via your ticket.
