Launch Adaware Antivirus Free and select 'Scan Computer' in the left panel.
Scroll down and click 'View' next to the "Manage Exclusions" option.
The "Manage Exclusions" window will open. Click 'Add' in the "Paths Excluded" panel.
Specify the path to the folder with the game (for example, D:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and click 'OK'.
The path to the client folder will appear in the exception list, which means the game client has been added to the antivirus exception list. You can close the settings window. You have successfully configured Adaware Antivirus Free.
Adaware Antivirus Pro
Add the World of Tanks game client to the antivirus exception list following the instructions for Adaware Antivirus Free (see above).
After that, we recommend adding the WorldOfTanks.exe file to the Adaware Antivirus Pro firewall exceptions to avoid problems with the game client connection to servers.
How to add files to Adaware Antivirus Pro firewall exclusions
Launch Adaware Antivirus Pro. Select 'Network Protection' in the left panel.
Click 'Advanced Settings'.
Click 'Manage' next to the "Applications Rules" option.
Click 'Add' in the "Applications Rules" window.
The window for adding rules will open. Click 'Browse...'.
Specify the path to WorldOfTanks.exe. This file is located in the folder with the installed game (for example, C:\Games\World_of_Tanks). Click 'OK'.
The path to WorldOfTanks.exe will appear in the "Path to program" field. Scroll down. Select the following: "Protocol"—'Any', "Direction"—'Both', "IP version"—'Any', "Actions"—'Allow'. Click 'Save'.
If everything is done correctly, the WorldOfTanks.exe process will also appear in the table. You have successfully configured Adaware Antivirus Pro. You can close the settings window.
